Today Carpe Data is proud to announce the expansion of its management team with the appointment of Greg Jones as the firm’s first Chief Data Officer.
In his new role, Mr. Jones will develop strategic approaches to data sourcing, identify and explore new data sources that expand Carpe Data’s product offerings, and partner with the company’s product development team to implement and optimize new data solutions, among numerous other responsibilities. Mr. Jones has joined the firm as of January 2019.

Mr. Jones is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in advanced analytics and data mining. Prior to joining Carpe Data, Mr. Jones served as VP, Enterprise Data & Analytics at Equifax, where he led the creation of Equifax’s Enterprise Identity & Linking business and consumer insights platform, as well as the management of the firm’s North American Commercial Services data strategy. Mr. Jones also previously served as a Director at Juniper Bank, Director at Experian, and Marketing Manager at Chase Card Services.
